How do I reserve my hotel room?
Our reservation process is very simple. Select or enter the desired city, enter
the dates of arrival and departure, and enter the number of rooms. Click the
‘Check Availability’ button. You can then reserve the room at the
hotel of your choice.
Is it safe to use my credit card?
Yes. We take security issues seriously. To ensure your security, Metropolis
Travel has teamed up with a secure payment server (Protx), which transmits
credit card details in encrypted format. Thus keeping key information away from
the prying eyes of hackers.
What if I don't want to use my card on the Internet?
No Problem! Call our reservation agents
Can I make special requests with the room I am reserving?
If the hotel accepts special requests, a section will appear on the Reservation
Form to insert such requests and submit them to the hotel. The hotel staff will
do their best to accommodate special requests. We cannot guarantee that your
requests will be granted because they are subject to availability.
I am traveling with my child(ren), how many of us can hotels accommodate?
Depending on the age of your child(ren). However, due to space issues
European hotels generally can only accommodate one child under 12 years when
sharing parents twin/double room and North American hotels generally can
accommodate two children under 12 years when sharing parents twin/double room.
I am traveling with my child(ren), are there any other charges I have to
pay?
We have already included child rates where applicable. However, you
will have to pay for your childs breakfast directly to hotel where there is a
child concession (I.e. child is free or half price).
Is my hotel reservation guaranteed?
Yes. Once you have received our confirmation email, your room is reserved from
our vast allocation of rooms.
Can I change my hotel reservation?
Of course! However, please see our terms &
conditions for any possible charges.
What happens if I wish to cancel my hotel reservation?
You can cancel your reservation at anytime. However, please see our
terms & conditions for any possible charges.
What if the hotel I wish to book is on request and not available
immediately?
Choose your preferred hotel and click on 'Book' button. Follow the simple
instructions. We still need to get authorisation on your credit card but will
not charge your card until your hotel confirms. Once we receive confirmation
from your preferred hotel, we will process your reservation and charge your
card as agreed. If we are unable to confirm your preferred hotel, an
alternative may be provided and an email notification will be sent to you. We
will hold this reservation for up to 48 hours to be accepted. We will only
charge your card after we receive your acceptance.
Once I have made my hotel reservation, what will I receive from you?
You will receive confirmation email from Metropolis Travel (it displays a
reservation number etc.), your hotel voucher with hotel details (you will need
to print & present it at the Hotel Reception during check in) and payment
confirmation.
